The site of a crop circle at Butte, Nebraska due north of Native America's oldest pyramid center provided the basic measure for a triangle ancient Greeks and Egyptians used to survey land. The western tip of a 3-4-5 triangle extended from Butte, Nebraska and the pyramids at Teotihuacan identified the precise longitude of a volcanic eruption on the Juan de Fuca Ridge January 24, 1998.
The father of modern mathematics, the Greek healer Pythagoras lived in Egypt for 22 years where he was an initiate of the mystery schools. Triangles were the bedrock for the Pythagorean society of healers who adopted a five-pointed star for their emblem. The signal to project a Pythagorean 3-4-5 triangle with the distance between Butte, Nebraska and the pyramids was encoded in a number of 3-4-5 triangles embodied in Teotihuacan's structural proportions.
The underwater volcano's latitude was identified with another crop circle at Kennewick, Washington in May, 1993. Together with a crop circle made at Herkimer, New York in 1993, the Kennewick crop circle formed an equilateral triangle with the pyramids at Teotihuacan. The 2,160-mile length of each leg of the crop circle-pyramid triangle described the basic measure for an astrological age of 2,160 years.
Again, this triangle was a signal to use Greek-Egyptian geometries. Dating to the prehistorical brilliance of Ionia, temples and oracles were geographically laid out in an astrological zodiac across Greece. In the geographical center of Greece, Apollo's oracle, Delphi, was the center of the circular zodiac divided into 12 sections. The zodiac was so important in ancient Greece that astrological symbols identified the areas where coins were minted.
Perhaps the most intriguing crop circle yet made was in England near Barbury Castle during 1991. Beautifully styled, the Barbury Castle crop circle also encoded Euclidean theorems discovered by Gerald Hawkins, author of Stonehenge Decoded. Mysteriously, the crop circle's design was a copy of a diagram from the 1687 text, PRACTICA, by a Benedictine monk. "The feud between the Mereopes and the [ancient Greek] Ionians will not cease until the golden tripod which [the god of fire] Vulcan cast into the sea be brought back into the house of the man who knows the things that are, that were, and that are to be."
Aligning the central triangle in the Barbury Castle crop circle with sites identified with the Kennewick and Herkimer crop circles points out the most seismically active areas and highest peaks on the planet.
