It's been a while since I have commented but find it
necessary to do so today on in particular on this subject.

I emailed you and Bill Hamilton a few days ago briefly
describing a life transformative experience I had in a
medicinal ceremony (spread over 2 nights) last November in
the southern Amazon jungles of Peru. This ceremony came
after I spent four days of ceremonies at Machu Picchu. I
have not been to a more powerful source and energy point
then what I felt in Machu Picchu and I have been to all of
the major pyramid/temple sites in Mexico and the southwest.

Something happened to me during the medicine ceremony in
the amazon that has sort of left me in between two worlds.
It will be difficult to fully explain in an email but I was
taken to a place in which time and space no longer existed.
This came after I was completely taken apart at a cellular
level and then re-built. 

I am experiencing the insomnia. I lay in bed waiting to
sleep and when the sleep does arrive it's not the same
level. I have now started using a CD player to listen to
the music that is used in the medicine ceremonies. Dreams
have been intense and sometimes blend in with the awake
time. 

I have also been charging at some level. That is, I build
up a static charge when I am still or sitting and when I
touch someone or any metal object I discharge my build-up
and startle the person I am touching or myself. It's now in
the 70's (warmer) here and I am still experiencing this. 

I am not complaining though because my perception has been
heightened which assists me with the youth work and my
ceremonial work that I still do. As a matter of fact I am
taking another group tonight to South Dakota. We will be in
a couple of ceremonies up there and I can't wait.

I am an ex-addict (both drugs and alcohol) and I have been
sober for almost 10 years now. I have been in some intense
native ceremonies over these past 10 years and have met
some very beautiful people along the way. I don't always
agree with the manner in which some of these ceremonies are
being led but that happens when people lead more with anger
than with love. No doubt there has been some tragic events
that have taken place on this continent during the past 500
years. (That's true for the entire planet)

Something happened to me in Peru that has left me at much
more peace but also with an inner sense to prepare. Not so
much for survival but for the next stage of Being. I saw
energy at it's purest form and it is LOVE. It's universal
and I felt it's healing energy. It's the ultimate medicine.
That has been the tough part for me, to talk about Love
(especially with the groups I work with) when everyone else
is talking about "getting their's"...so I choose to live in
"The Now".
