THE HUMAN CONNECTION

Switzerland - 1975

In the same number of years that Moses wandered the wilderness, the first modest appearance of UFO's in America evolved to epic proportions. It began when businessman Kenneth Arnold reported nine shiny disks that skipped above Mt. Rainier like flying saucers in June, 1947. Less than a month after Arnold's sighting, the July 8 issue of The Roswell Daily Record carried a story about a flying saucer crash at Roswell, New Mexico July 4, 1947. The night of the crash the Army's 509th Division descended on Roswell and a press release explaining that the debris was just a weather balloon was soon released.

In 1952 the FBI convened the Robertson Panel to study UFO's at the request of the CIA, which had been recently created as a spy organization in the Cold War. The panel's recommendation for debunking the aura of mystery around the UFO's remains America's official policy. Shrouded with mythical cosmology, the first 40 years of ufology unfolded with staggering implications about direct physical or indirect metaphysical components of UFO's. Whether physical traces, data correlations or secondary witnesses, evidence supporting numerous UFO events has been acquired. Breakthroughs in transistors gleaned from the flying saucer at Roswell ignited a technological revolution that empowered the high-tech intrigues of Hollywood's special agent James Bond as well as the real-time moon walk of the Apollo crew.

Fifty years after the UFO crash, the post-retirement revelations of Colonel Philip Corso, U.S. Army Intelligence, reported that technology reverse engineered from crash debris at Roswell had changed the history of Earth. He recorded the history-changing events of the crashed UFO at Roswell that he directly participated in for his grandchildren in his book, The Day After Roswell , published in 1997. Corso's account of his role injecting alien technology into American industry has never been acknowledged by military or White House officials. Neither have they denied it.

Mexico 1993

Despite history making UFO activity over Mexico and volumes of facts about Unidentified Flying Objects in public records, libraries, and the Internet, a landing at the White House is still cited by perfectly sober people as necessary proof for the extraterrestrial reality. Among many problems with this picture are laws forbidding a UFO to land at the White House . The last time UFO's buzzed the White House, jets were repeatedly scrambled from Wright Patterson Air Force Base between midnight and 6am to discover that the UFO's disappeared each time. By dawn Air Force pilots suspected that intelligently piloted UFO's from an alien world had deliberately evaded them. Although Air Force officials were quick, they weren't fast enough to catch headlines reporting the non-encounter before the Washington Post was on the streets that morning in 1952. Life went on as usual for most Americans who were not aware of the event, many of whom are still waiting for the big landing at the White House.

In the absence of reliable information about the obvious presence of UFO's, fantastical intrigues have been devised to explain them. Some speculate that a prime directive prohibiting interference in an alien world (Earth) governing extraterrestrials precludes a landing at the White House. Others report secret trade treaties allowing extraterrestrials to harvest human genetics in exchange for technological secrets forbid a public landing. Conventional scientists claim that constraints of space travel negate the possibility of extraterrestrials ever landing at the White House. The fact that the public does not know if a prime directive exists or if a secret agreement has been made or if the UFO's are waiting for the right president reflects the human mind more precisely than the extraterrestrial reality.

A press release for a ballot initiative in the 2000 election distributed by Bob Bletchman and Larry Bryant summarizes. "In a letter entered into the Congressional Record in 1960, retired Admiral Roscoe H. Hillenkoetter, first CIA head, urgently warned Congress to take UFO reports seriously. His concern: misidentifying Unidentified Flying Objects as enemy hostiles could trigger a nuclear response from Cold War adversaries. In 1989, the Soviet Union echoed that concern in a publication, Soviet Military Review .

"Today, public opinion polls show that an overwhelming majority of Americans believe the government knows more than it lets on; their conclusion adds to the cynicism corrosive of the trust necessary to democratic institutions."

Information about the extraterrestrial reality is the looking glass to intelligence that controls craft displaying phenomenal capabilities while baffled humans watch. The marvels of extraterrestrial technology reflect the force of mind as definitively as human technology does. The Ages of Stone, Copper, Bronze, and Iron leading to the Industrial Revolution followed by the Nuclear Age define civilization with technologies. And mind has always been the defining factor that engaged the genius to construct civilization in successive ages. Mind drives the true mystery of the UFO enigma with its search for The Other, both within for humans and beyond for extraterrestrials. The search of extraterrestrial intelligence is ultimately the search for human intelligence to discover the forces that shape civilization.

Defining a paradigm to encompass the high strangeness surrounding UFO's has been the vital challenge of investigators and experiencers. Abduction scenarios from all points of the globe report efforts to procreate with humans using backward methods that Earth's presumably less advanced scientists would not consider. Increased psychic and telepathic abilities almost always follow encounters with extraterrestrials in a society that historically rejects extrasensory perception. Extraterrestrial contacts with the highest levels of hard evidence include the strongest messages about the illusory nature of reality.

Mexico - 1992
Paradox was central to highly documented face-to-face encounters with a one-armed Swiss farmer, Billy Meier . More than 800 clear daylight photos of UFO's made by Meier while Pleiadian craft posed between 1975 and 1980 have weathered extensive testing to constitute unparalleled evidence. When Meier asked for additional photos in an early encounter during 1975, his extraterrestrial contactor, the female Semjase, responded that she would consent even though she knew Meier's associates wanted the photos only because they did not believe his reports. She cautioned Meier that the senses can be deceived and only the work of personal effort discerns truth.

Mexico 1991 -
Fractal Enhancement
The most extensive mass sighting of UFO's ever made on July 11, 1991 over Mexico City was recorded on more than 100 videos. Numerous videos throughout the area made it possible to record a hyper-leap when the craft was seen over Mexico City before appearing 85 miles away within seconds, defying the illusion of time-space.

After 52 years of UFO's the question about the craft is no longer whether or not they are real but whether they can be measured in comfortable terms to leave familiar systems intact. But the UFO's continual reference ancient systems with crop circle symbols and contact conversations to remind us of ancient measures. The UFO paradoxes that most puzzle modern science were in fact the familiar terms of ancient societies that quantum physicist David Bohm addressed in Wholeness And The Implicate Order .

"In the ancient view, reason is seen as insight into a totality of ratio or proportion, regarded as relevant inwardly to the very nature of things (and not only outwardly as a form of comparison with a standard or unit). Of course, this ratio is not necessary merely a numerical proportion (though it does, of course, include such proportion). Rather, it is in general a qualitative sort of universal proportion or relationship... measure is a form of insight that has to fit the overall reality in which man lives, as demonstrated by the clarity of perception and harmony of action to which it leads. Such insight can arise properly only when a man works with seriousness and honesty, putting truth and factuality first, rather than his own whims or desires.

"The general rigidificaton and objectificaton of the notion of measure continued to develop until, in modern times, the very word 'measure' has come to denote mainly a process of comparison of something with an external standard. While the original meaning still survives in some contexts (e.g., art and mathematics) it is generally felt as having only a secondary sort of significance...

"Thus, in Sanskrit (which has an origin common to the Indo-European language group) there is a word 'matra' meaning 'measure', in the musical sense, which is evidently close to the Greek 'metron'. But then there is another word 'maya' obtained from the same root, which means 'illusion'. This is an extraordinarily significant point. Whereas to Western society, as it derives from the Greeks, measure, with all that this word implies, is the very essence of reality, or at least the key to this essence, in the East measure has now come to be regarded commonly as being in some way false and deceitful. In this view the entire structure and order of forms, proportions, and 'ratios' that present themselves to ordinary perception and reason are regarded as a sort of veil, covering the true reality, which cannot be perceived by the senses and of which nothing can be said or thought."

The challenge that UFO's present to ideas already vested with time, effort and expense contribute to official secrecy and personal rejection. It is axiomatic that ideas are never accepted simply because they are right but because individuals and societies are able to assimilate them comfortably as the conditions of their survival mandate. But the boundaries of comfort are delineated with far deeper roots in the human psyche that feed the mind through an instinctive drive for realization. Ideas deeply rooted in instinctual human experience invoke profound battles to accommodate them, both consciously and unconsciously.

The historic battle to win freedom for prisoners taken from the Amistad slave ship was won and lost on the assumption that human nature extends intrinsic designs that the aware mind must define with knowledge. John Quincy Adams won the prisoners' liberty in 1841 arguing the self-evident truths of human nature laid out in the Declaration of Independence: Freedom is so basic to human design that individuals from all walks risk heroic efforts to gain it. The federal prosecutor's opposing argument that domination of one human over another was the natural order that had ruled since the Garden of Eden failed to convince even the pro-slavery constituents of the Supreme Court.

Adams' declaration that the truth itself had been taken into slavery to serve vested interests is as relevant to modern UFO's as it was to the Amistad case. Although costumes change with centuries, a parade of familiar characters appear in the settings of civilization to elocute the articles of essential nature from the human inventory. In his 1957 treatise, Flying Saucers: A Modern Myth Of Things Seen In The Sky , psychologist Carl Jung observed that the symbols associated with UFO's and extraterrestrials were the same that emerged from deep levels of the psyche. And at the same time, the craft were physically real.

"The possibility of a purely psychological explanation is illusory, or even a physical one -- for instance, those explicable by reflections from 'temperature inversions' in the atmosphere. Despite its contradictory statements, The American Air Force, as well as the Canadian, consider the sightings to be 'real,' and have set up special bureau to collect the reports... What astonishes me most of all is that the American Air Force, despite all the information it must possess, and despite its alleged fear of creating a panic similar to the one which broke out in New Jersey on the occasion of Welles's radio play, is systematically working towards that very thing by refusing to release an authentic and reliable account of facts."

If Jung had lived another 40 years he would have witnessed the power of the collective unconscious to penetrate the foundations society in a very brief period. Consciousness is all that one knows and recognizes with awareness. It perceives and considers elements that constitute realities. Vital conscious action reflects unconscious forces similar to the way that a visible current of water is moved by invisible forces. In a 1956 contact with Richard Miller, extraterrestrials commented that the main difference between humans and them was that they had explored the unconscious mind. In contrast, humans had barely tapped the reservoir of mind. The unconscious takes its power from two fundamental aspects. The first is elements entirely personal to the individual, relating to the unique qualities of each personality and soul. The other consists of inborn qualities of humanity that Jung calls the collective unconscious.

"I have chosen the term 'collective' because this part of the unconscious is not personal but universal; in contrast to the personal psyche, it has contents and modes of behavior that are more or less the same everywhere and in all individuals. It is, in other words, identical in all men and thus constitutes a common psychic substrate of a suprapersonal nature which is present in every one of us... Normally the unconscious collaborates with the conscious without friction or disturbance, so that one is not even aware of its existence. But when an individual or a social group deviates too far from their instinctual foundations, they then experience the full impact of unconscious forces. The collaboration of the unconscious is intelligent and purposive, and even when its acts in opposition to consciousness its expression is still compensatory in an intelligent way, as if it were trying to restore the lost balance." ( The Archetypes and The Collective Unconscious , C.G. Jung)

Thus the greatest power is elicited with the archetypes that speak most profoundly to the collective unconscious. Archetypes are patterns universal to the human mind, the communication medium of the unconscious as it purposively flows through to consciousness. They are the main characters on the stage Shakespeare saw in all of life whose powerful images immortalized the 15th Century poet. Along with main characters, archetypes also embody settings and pursuits. Shakespeare's portrayal of each life as a shadow that moves across the stage of life to disappear again in Hamlet is an archetype of the meta-physical paradox. It depicts the physical as a shadow cast by an implicit illumination. Precisely describing perception universally realized in pursuit of that which is more than physical, the literal meaning of meta-physical, it is an archetype.

Jung's consideration of archetypes reflected Irenaeus' early comments: "The creator of the world did not fashion these things directly from himself but copied them from archetypes outside himself." Plato made another early mention: "As God [contains] all the treasure of his godhead... hidden in himself as in an archetype... in like manner Saturn carries the similitudes of metallic bodies hiddenly in himself."

Jung addressed only individual cases and their responses rather than the social implications of contact, possibly because the full pattern of UFO encounters had not firmly taken shape in the larger context in 1957. The sweeping social implications of UFO activity through individual and social action largely emerged during the seventies, after Jung's death; but the intent to address the needs of society through individual UFO contacts is as obvious as the lights that improbably dance in the sky.

The pattern of individual UFO experiences that inspire transformative passages engendering social responsibility for global and cosmic citizenship was evident in Dr. Leo Sprinkle's study at the University of Wyoming in 1967. This socializing aspect of individuals inspired with transformative experiences serving as messengers in the social organism, focused through the combined lenses of the first two major studies, brings into play the panorama of social consciousness.

Added to personal interests in individual experiencers, addressing collective consciousness through the collective unconsciousness appears to be the objective of the extraterrestrials piloting UFO's. Given that archetypal elements of the collective unconscious are universally shared by all humanity, aware expressions driven by the collective unconscious span an array of disparate social orders. From New Guinea tribesmen holding models of B52's to American astronauts reciting homilies in moon rockets, the nations are so near yet so far apart. Only a message to the collective unconscious would have a prayer of reaching the all of us.

The Vedic Bhagavad-gita
The vast differences in conscious among societies is the venue of sociology, which studies the forces that shape consciousness in different directions among societies who share the same collective unconscious. In the same way that individuals express archetypes in their development, societies also express archetypes developed with shared experiences. Differences in sociologies measured with demographics explain the responses of national identities to UFO's, exemplified with the Mexican and American federal governments.

In origin Euro-Americans personify archetypal warrior-merchants led out of Egypt to the wilderness to quest the promised land whereas Mexicans are archetypal wizards initiated in the power of mind in Quetzalcoatl's domain. Both archetypes are germane to the collective unconscious at varying stages of evolution as expressed in the literature of each people describing UFO-like activity. These archetypes are exemplified in the settings for UFO sightings in both societies. The first American UFO sighting was by businessman Kenneth Arnold while flying his private plane on a business trip; and extraordinary documentation of UFO activity over Mexico was made when thousands gathered to watch the July 11, 1991 solar eclipse prophesied by priests inspired by The Feathered Serpent.

The literature of each society is examined here for the intelligence that motivates social consciousness in America and Mexico along with the Bhagavad-gita for contextual comparison to the collective unconscious. The objective of this reconnaissance is a fundamental archetype that simultaneously expresses and expands awareness of the Sixth World of Consciousness. Because UFO appearances tap powerful reservoirs of the collective unconscious responses to them parallel religious experiences in some details but are not the same. Ancient astronauts who once visited the Earth have been confused with religious characters and in other cases divine figures have been confused with ancient astronauts because both rely on awareness for discernment. While it is not necessary to understand the source of patterns to recognize that they exist, distinguishing the differences between these relies on awareness which changes with maturing consciousness.

Quetzalcoatl's Codex

The 260-day calendar designed with factors of zero using 20 glyphs numbered 0-19 and 13-day weeks was the centerpiece of culture in ancient Mexico. Each pyramid center celebrated a unique celestial body depicted with stylizations of the 20 glyphs with almanacs comprising codices for that center. Venus was the focal point of the unique glyphs and codex at Chichen Itza in the Yucatan, commonly known as the Dresden Codex for the Dresden Library where it is housed. Comprised of fold-out panels on bark material, the glyphs recorded in the Dresden Codex are generally favored by scholars. On the other hand, little is known about the lunar center run by women at Uxmal decimated by the conquering celibate priests so that none of its literature survived.

Quetzalcoatl's Codex taken from the Mixteca-Puebla region near Teotihuacan was named the Borgia Codex for Cardinal Stefano Borgia who endowed it to the Library of the Vatican at his death. It's 39 screenfolds are painted with glyphs and signs on animal skins that deal with ritual and spiritual matters in contrast to almanacs and historical events in most codices. The artist was doubtlessly an initiate of Quetzalcoatl's tradition after the pyramid builders departed, but the conquest was so complete that the only certainties about the codex are that it was made in the Mexico Valley before Cortes arrived. But identifying Quetzalcoatl with the star masters prophesied with the codex's calendar broadens its scope to include cosmic and global perspectives. Regardless of all that is not known about the codex, it is an overriding certainty that in 755AD its calendar predicted the precise day UFO's returned 1,236 years later.

The codex's first six panels symbolically describe an archetypal evolution that starts with the realm of chaos and progresses through six suns. Although these six panels are depicted with glyphs specific to the Mexico Valley, they display considerable awareness and integration of archetypes that compare with new sciences appearing with the 21st Century. The clarity of archetypes compared with culture-specific symbolism in the codex's first panels opens a window on the mind explored in Carl Jung's work with physicist Wolfgang Pauli, a Nobel prizing winning contemporary of Einstein's. A brilliant physicist whom Einstein greatly admired, Pauli's dream of a great cosmic clock inspired his collaboration with Carl Jung to produce the theory of Synchronicity .

The archetypes themselves were the keys to mathematics and science with their symbols cognized with intuitive processes to be analyzed with discrete mathematics for the sciences of life. The mathematics that now guide modern science were birthed from Pythagoras' search of the mystery schools in Egypt where he lived for 22 years. The archetypes timelessly direct consciousness into avenues of collaboration with the natural world that transcends culture. In the modern world post-quantum physicist Jack Sarfatti was inspired with a concept of consciousness focused into smaller units of the brain to increase consciousness rate in a dream. In turn, Sarfatti applied algebraic equations to archetypes of the dream, which are included in the appendices.

"Upon waking this morning I had the following memory of a dream, or was it more than a dream? Let's us apply Penrose's criterion for consciousness to the entire universe... Of course, this is questionable because his criterion depends upon a spatial displacement of a lump of matter in space. What does this spatial displacement mean if the lump is all the mass in the universe? This is tentative. I may have made some algebraic error, but will put it out there anyway. The idea lurking here is that of the barely conscious universe whose moment of consciousness is the Hubble time. Therefore, it concentrates matter into smaller lumps like our brains to increase its consciousness rate." (Jack Sarfatti - December, 1998)

The algebraic equations Dr Sarfatti wrote after awaking from the vision of his dream state are included in the Notes. As shown in "Mind Mapping The Ages", Dr Sarfatti's intuitive conception with right-brain symbolism followed by discrete definition with left-brain anaysis exemplifies optimum brain function per se. Throughout ancient America, the Toltecs of Mexico Valley were recognized as master dream interpreters and astronomers who could build anything. This balanced process is fundamental for accessing higher functions of human potential that defines the frontier of "new" science.

The master mathematicians who invented zero in ancient Mexico expressed a high consciousness of fundamental archetypes. These have been erroneously interpreted as primitive naiveté by archaeologists who had not yet met the archetypes integrated into awareness of their society. In addition to glyphic meanings specific to Mexico Valley, the artist's desire to tell his story distinguishes the cultural and universal content with personal style that, unfortunately, have few points of comparison for clarification. We have to take the artist's account at face value and follow his storyline. The following are broad archetypal renderings of ritualistic text, where all periods of time and divisions of heaven and earth are cosmic forces represented as gods in a pictorial representation of the calendar's origin. In geometric construction these panels are entirely comparable to the great mandalas in which Carl Jung identified the archetypes.

Panel 1: The opening and closing of frames throughout the six panels portray energetic movements that focus each scene's content. Equal and opposite divisions of the frame open at the bottom to create a primary vertical axis where a life-filled vessel is suspended in the center of horizontal and vertical axes. The fanning blades of a black sphere suggest rotation in darkness of the deep, the void, without humanoid figures. Infinite space and formless matter have coalesced to create disordered chaos of serpents representing primal life force. A vertical axis on the vessel expand into legs supporting it, echoing the two-necked carafe still used in marriage ceremonies where each partner drinks separately but equally from a single vessel.

This central figure parallels the seven-headed serpent Colonel James Churchward studied with the Rishi of a 19th Century Hindu college temple while in the British military. Recorded on red clay tablets, the Naacal symbols Churchward studied were derived from a Naga Maya language that had been brought to the temple from Burma. The words "naga" for serpent and "maya" for illusion in the college temple reflected the same phonemes and meanings in Mesoamerica. In the Naga Maya symbolism the seven-headed serpent issued the seven commands of creation as many serpents emerge from the vessel of life in Quetzalcoatl's first scene.

The symbolic Naacal language had been created for outposts of the Lemurian temple system before the Pacific island nation submerged thousands of years in the past. Native Americans throughout the Pacific seaboard honor the memory of a motherland that was lost to rising waters in antiquity. At Uxmal pyramid in southern Mexico, a temple with mastadon sculptures faces westward in the direction of the motherland.

Panel 2: An array of concentric rings radiating from a central orb have replaced the black sphere within a frame now open at the top, indicating a 180 degree movement of the scene. Thirty-two fans extend from the two outer rings with 16 marked and 16 unmarked in opposite patterns on each, suggesting counter rotation. The equal and opposite movement in the frame has expanded to the two outer rings with a total of 64 fans, to indicate the number of change lines in the I Ching, the Chinese Book of Change.

Chaotic movement of barely distinguishable creatures has transferred to well defined figures of 20 glyphs, each characterizing a day, embedded in orderly fashion around the frame. Four figures -- Skull, Serpent, Eagle and Monkey -- carry bundles of seed-producing plants on their backs which directly link sequences of time to the solar cycle depicted with the central disk. These figures correspond with four possible symbols for years in the ancient calendar's 52-year cycle called year bearers. Among the 20 day glyphs, four are year bearers on which the designated new year date will always fall. After a new year begins with Skull the following three years will begin with Serpent, Eagle and Monkey; then four years later Skull will appear as the year bearer again. The specific year bearers vary among versions of the calendar that use different new year dates, but four year bearers are consistently used.

Panel 3 : Humanity appears through the work of weavers and brewers depicted with Skulls in frames that open at the bottom, indicating another 180 degree shift. Division of the frame into two scenes actually suggests the process of mitosis, or splitting of cells. Rather than a cell, the evolutionary process is split between birth mothers and weavers identified with the Skulls modernly interpreted to mean "death" in glyphic form, the ancient meaning of Skull had a vastly different context than currently understood. Skull's action of bringing life in this panel defies physical death but could still represent an esoteric or symbolic death. Bearing in mind that the gods represented natural forces, tradition relates that the god for this day jumped into the fire to become the Moon. He blazed as brightly as the Sun but the other gods didn't want a second Sun, so they smashed his face, dimming it, and giving him a place as the Moon. Skull's eye is commonly formed with the symbol for "star".

These archetypes pervade modern society with the Department of Defense spokesman announcing the official intent to "cut off the central nervous system" of the Kosovan army while congressmen discuss the "political courage to cut off the head to go to the heart of the Kosovan military." In a television advertisement for the Internet a well dressed man stands in what appears to be a conference room reciting the words about "monkey finger" from a song in a culture-specific medium that has globalized communication. Wherever we go and whatever we do, archetypes of the collective unconscious characterize Homo sapien in all its modes of conscious development.

Archetypally Skull symbolizes the mental potential that distinguishes Homo sapien from lower animal forms, adding clarity to Skull's plight of being smashed for shining too brightly in contrast to Monkey figures emerging from the chests of two women. This panel depicts the vastly different evolutions of the lower nature in Monkey and the mental capacities of Homo sapien in Skull. From this point the disparate evolutions will compete for dominance until Skull masters the lower nature of Monkey.

This parallels Sitchin's translations of Sumerian literature describing the polarizing conflict between Sumer's ancient gods over the newly developed workers for their mines engineered from Homo erectus and own genetic material. In an effort to improve Homo erectus ' intelligence to make him a suitable worker in the mines, the workers endowed with xiHomo sapien brain structure became smart enough to do far more than the Sumerian faction led by Enlil had wished. Like all slave owners, Enlil feared the workers' enhanced intelligence undermined the control over them necessary for sustaining position. Lead Sumerian scientist Enki -- also known as Ea and Ptah -- who had hybridized the workers with his own DNA, opposed Enlil's insistence that the workers had been bred as workers and must fulfill that role. Conflicts between the two factions -- one asserting the lower evolution and the other advocating the high potential of xiHomo sapien -- distinguished their presence on Earth through 2023BC and undoubtedly explains much modern UFO activity.

Panel 4: War appears in this frame that opens at the top to contain four differently colored men emerging from a humanoid giant with two Flint glyphs representing "spark" in place of a head. The god for the Flint glyph was "Jeweled Turkey", who could transform himself into any animal but whose favorites were the jaguar and the turkey. Three different types of figures, each running with the decapitated heads of the other figures, surround the center where two glyphic heads on one body symbolize the presence of many giants. The giant with two heads occupies the central position of the serpent-filled birth vessel with two legs in the first pane, after the central opening has rotated four times to generate a harmonic of chaos.

The giant introduces a new factor associated with knowledge that there are four colorations of the human races. This indication that racial inflections were spawned by a giant corresponds with Genesis 6:4: The Giants were on the Earth in those days -- and also afterward -- when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown." The corrupt violence associated with the giants that preceded the Deluge in Genesis 6 is reflected in the figures running with each other's decapitated heads. This suggests that the weavers of Homo sapien were different than the giants who spawned human races from their bodies.

The Earth Chronicles explain that separated from their homes, work-a-day Sumerian scientists, the Annunaki, began mating with the women of Earth. In addition to having a lot of fun, the Annunaki exhibited genuine affection and responsibility for their offspring with human mothers to exacerbate Enlil's problem controlling the work force who had new options. Determined to eliminate the pesky human problem, Enlil elicited agreement among proto-human Sumerians to not tell humans about a devastating flood expected during the approaching glacial melt around 12,500BC. In defiance of Enlil's ploy, Enki secretly informed Noah, his descendent with a human mother, about the flood to ensure the lineage's survival.

Panel 5 : An enormous pyramid provides the setting for a fierce battle between the Monkeys and the Skulls enclosed with an organically flowing frame representing a complete change from the first four panels. Solid lines on the first four panels could indicate that they represent the past, and are completed scenes, but the organic movement in this panel could indicate that it is still being created. This would date the events for this scene in the Fifth World that ended July 11, 1991.

The Skulls in this panel did not hold a superior position to the Monkeys as they did in the third panel, but are contemporaries with them, indicating a battle between two human evolutions. Symbols in this panel are so culture-specific that it probably tells the story of a great battle that personally touched the Teotihuacan area. The battle for dominance of a temple between the Monkeys and Skulls symbolically points to the mind's capacity for sentience in conflict with lower animal instincts. Ritual temples surmounted pyramids to crown them like the head crowns the body. Although the Monkeys hold the temple ground, they are defeated by the Skulls in the next panel.

As an epoch this panel would correspond with the period when humans were scattered after the Tower of Babel incident. It would include the Israelite's Exodus from Egypt and emergence from the wilderness to conquer Jericho with the blowing of horns in the Old Testament and the gathering of armies to fight a battle leading to transcendence without the need for demigods in the Bhagavad-gita . The battles commence with tumultuous blowing of horns that the Bhagavad-gita describes as shattering the opponents' hearts. "Both Lord Krishna and Arjuna [his initiate], stationed on a great chariot drawn by white horses, sounded their transcendental conchshells." The hearts of Arjuna's army were not shattered because they were confident in the universal power personified in Krishna. Obviating the demigods, Krishna explained, "That supreme abode of Mine is not illumined by the sun or moon, nor by fire or electricity. Those who reach it never return to this material world."

Panel 6: Six suns comprise one side of the frame for this scene to identify the serpentine nature of the life force entwined in the pyramid where the Jaguar wizard sits. Each of the six suns faces a different direction in a series of rotations that mirror the reversals in the panels themselves. The red Jaguar wizard sits atop a red temple under construction observing a "New Fire" ceremony in the chest of a Monkey. The Serpent Lord is congratulated by the Skulls while doing a heart sacrifice on a dead Monkey as other Monkeys build a new pyramid. Eagle observes in the far right corner of the scene.

The Skulls congratulating the Serpent Lord signals the successful completion of an evolution that seats the Jaguar wizard in the temple atop the pyramid symbolizing the body with the Sixth Sun. In the most archetypal terms, the combined power of the life force symbolized by the Serpent Lord and the mental plane signified by the Skull conquer the lower nature of the Monkey. Observing from on high, Eagle symbolizes spiritual attainment that watches over the kindling of the dead Monkey's heart which pictorially depicts the lower nature's origin and return to ashes and dust.

The forces set in motion through time with the solar cycle empower the Jaguar wizard while the lower evolution of Monkey is reduced ashes and dust from which it emerged. This advises that, rather than destroy humankind, the solar changes with the Sixth Sun on July 11, 1991 will release the wizard's power.

Israel's Prophets Speak

In contrast to the powerful symbolism of Native America, Israel's prophets relied on the spoken language of their day to express their archetypes with the words of men. After the Spirit of God moved over the void to create the world with Man as a virtually androgynous creature, Adam and Eve were endowed with living souls in the Garden of Eden. At "The Fall", Eve was censored with pain in childbirth and Adam to toil for his livelihood. Only the serpent was suffered to crawl on his belly.

The generations of Adam and Eve's descendants struggled through the Deluge and Tower of Babel before Abraham suffered sterility and was not able to produce an heir. Sitchin dates Abraham's birth at 2123BC, 2,000 years after the environmental decline of Saharasia began and 100 years before the 2023BC mega-blast. Responding to Abraham's plea for an heir, the Lord extended a covenant to his descendants. Through this covenant, both the Israelite and Islamic tribes were born. There is not a single passage in the Hebraic literature where the Lord commanded humans to fall down in obeisance. Satan did not appear as a figure in human suffering until The Book of Job , when the first hint of messianic promise appeared. Jung addressed the signs of changing consciousness that appeared relatively late in Judaic history in xiThe Answer To Job.

Offered the opportunities of free men and women, the Israelites were terrified to face their oppressors. "Didn't we say to you in Egypt, 'Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians'? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!.. Then the Lord said to Moses, "Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on." (Exodus 14:10-15) Separated from familiar society to an extraordinary setting then returned to the ordinary world, the consciousness of the Israelites was transformed. After Moses' death, Joshua led the Israelites.

"All those who came out of Egypt -- all the men of military age -- died in the desert on the way after leaving Egypt... The Israelites had moved about in the desert forty years until all the men who were of military age when they left Egypt had died... So he raised up their sons in their place, and these were the ones Joshua circumcised... Then the Lord said to Joshua, "Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you." Joshua 5:4-9

The consciousness of new teachings had changed the Israelites in 40 years of wandering. Although the promised land had always lain ahead it could not be theirs without the courage of their teachings. Manna had been provided to the Israelites until they crossed the Jordan River as a new people with Joshua. While camped on the plains of Jericho, the Israelites celebrated Passover. "The day after the Passover, that very day, they ate some of the produce of the land: unleavened bread and roasted grain. The manna stopped the day after they ate this food from the land; there was no longer any manna for the Israelites, but that year they ate of the produce of Canaan." Joshua 6:11-12

The wilderness is an archetypal setting of heroic pursuits in the absence of familiar conventions that impede purposive collaboration of the unconscious. Discarding outworn conventions in the wilderness, new experiences, beliefs, and visions forge the tools that provide new promise. The promised land represents the victory of a warrior's quest for deeper potential in the wilderness. The promised land could be but is not necessarily a territory since it is accessed with metaphysical elements exemplified in the Israelites' approach to Jericho.

"Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua went up to him and asked, 'Are you for us or for our enemies?' 'Neither,' he replied, 'but as commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.' Then Joshua asked him, 'What message does my Lord have for his servant?' The Commander of the Lord's army replied, 'Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy.' And Joshua did so." Joshua 5:13-15

The Commander's order for Joshua to remove his sandals because he was standing on a holy place was the signal that an extraordinary event was transpiring. Performing the second circumcision after crossing the Jordan had demonstrated Joshua's willingness to perform religious duties. Joshua did not ask why the place was holy but fell face down to the ground, even though there was no obvious demand for religious propriety. The lack of recognizable religious significance and the Commander's failure to specify a memorial for the place indicates the specialness was associated with the metaphysical rather than the physical.

Joshua was near the site where Jacob had wrestled with a man until daylight to see the face of god. "Then the man said, 'Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with man and have overcome.'.. Then he blessed him there. So Jacob called the place Peniel, saying, 'It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared.'" (Genesis 32:28-30) Joshua's falling face down was a complete contrast to Jacob's struggle that earned the name Israel for himself and Peniel for the place that assumed religious significance.

"Now Jericho was tightly shut up because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in. Then the Lord said to Joshua, 'See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men. March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams' horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets. When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have all the people give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the people will go up, every man straight in.'" Joshua 6:1-5

Filled with archetypal symbols, this passage specifies that Jericho was won with metaphysical elements drawn from a tremendous power exercised by the Israelites, accessed with profound vision. Rather than physical force, the sounding of horns and shouts of Israelites rendered the physical to the hand of Israel. Then, in contrast to accepted religious morality, a prostitute and her household were spared and the rest of the city slain.

"Joshua commanded the people, 'Shout! For the Lord has given you the city! The city and all that is in it are to be devoted to the Lord. Only Rahab the prostitute and all who are with her in her house shall be spared, because she hid the spies we sent. But keep away from the devoted things, so that you will not bring about your own destruction by taking any of them. Otherwise you will make the camp of Israel liable to destruction and bring trouble on it. All the silver and gold and the articles of bronze and iron are sacred to the Lord and must go into his treasury.'" (Joshua 6:16-18)

Symbolically the prostitute represents corrupted physical power that plays out archetypally. In Jericho the physically corrupt is saved by alliance with the hidden intelligence that had penetrated the physical walls. The Israelites were reminded that their power does not rest in Jericho's physical wealth which will bring destruction to them. The Lord's instructions did not specify that the prostitute be spared nor the devoted things relinquished but Joshua knew these were necessary. Properties of silver, gold, bronze and iron that Joshua allocated to the Lord's treasury have specialized properties related to alchemical processes. In another passage the Lord told Joshua that an Israelite had taken forbidden things and gave instructions for dealing with the issue. This could have reflected a concern that extended to the Israelites' relationship with Joshua himself, since the Lord specified that an Israelite had deceived Joshua then proceeded with a first class shake down.

The level of detail specified by the Lord in some instances compared to Joshua's decisions about them clearly showed that he was not relying exclusively on instructions. Joshua was able to independently derive information balancing complementary elements of the physical and the meta-physical. The Israelites as a unit with Joshua had achieved the ability to draw on inner resources in ways they had not during the Exodus.

Rather than changing the structure of consciousness, the Israelite's god counseled them through the structure. And when the Israelites elected to pursue the prevalent consciousness of ruled nations, their god affirmed the choice. Many symbols, archetypes and decisions of the Israelites at Jericho when they left the wilderness behind are paralleled in texts of ancient Mexico's Feathered Serpent and the Bhagavad-gita , reflecting the power of the collective unconscious to structure events.

Archetypes define perspective for characters, settings, and quests on multiple levels of consciousness. Calling upon archetypes for modeling encounters, extraterrestrials invoke the intelligence of human consciousness in individuals and societies. The most logical approach an extraterrestrial civilization could take to engage communication with human society is through archetypes of the collective unconscious.
