Time travel is in the news more and more, both as science and UFO theory. In 1978 Ida Kannenberg wrote about time travelers from Atlantis who entered our present time, which is at a point most similar to Atlantis when it declined. When the political, social and moral decline of Atlantis was evident, a group of colleagues secretly developed time travel and relocated to the present time nexus. As unlikely as this may have sounded in 1978 this explanative theory is gaining a leading position in many UFO encounters.

The time travelers explained to Ida they made a few visits on the way to the present time to set up markers for those who remained behind to follow. The Biblical Ezekiel was one of the persons identified in Ida's work with the time travelers. Now, a scientist, identified only as working on a very advanced project, postulates that Ezekiel encountered time travelers. Bill Birnes, publisher of “UFO Magazine,” spoke about Ezekiel’s vision in an interview with Whitley Strieber. In Ezekiel’s vision he saw skeletons reform into bodies, stand up and come back to life. Birnes postulates that Ezekiel was not just a witness to a UFO but was a participant in an event moving backwards in time. Ezekiel watched skeletons reform without realizing HE was the one moving back in time. I'm not certain that Ezekiel actually moved through time as Birnes suggests, but the vision Ezekiel saw certainly encapsulates the concept of time travel.

Producer of “UFO Hunters” for the History Channel, Birnes is a genuinely brilliant UFO investigator and theorist. Whitley Strieber interviewed Bill Birnes for the subscriber section of Unknown Country this week, and the interview with Bill Birnes is, in my opinion, worth the cost of subscribing to Strieber's web site. I subscribe to Unknown Country for the sole purpose of access to the great guests that are interviewed. Bill Birnes' interview is worth the price of a three-month subscription.

Ida Kannenberg first encountered the time travelers in 1940 in a UFO contact. Coming to terms with her UFO contacts in the 1960's and 1970's, when Ida was a lone bird flying with little but her own integrity, I am thrilled that Ida has the chance to see that much of what the time travelers told her has been increasingly validated. She wrote six books with the time travelers explaining who they are and how they work.
